About the position

The Software Architect/Development Manager will oversee the creation and maintenance of software products that track vital social events and the issuance of certificates. This role involves coordinating multiple development teams to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and resources while crafting a shared architectural vision. The position is a full-time consultant role based in Utah, with a hybrid work model allowing for both remote and onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation of software products by coordinating multiple development teams.
• Ensure all teams are aligned with project goals, timelines, and resources.
• Craft and maintain the shared architectural vision for the software products.
• Support the creation and maintenance of various in-house applications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of AWS experience, including support of multiple applications in the cloud.
• 5+ years of experience in writing responses to RFPs, computing legislative fiscal notes, creating documentation, and writing training/testing procedures.
• 5+ years of experience in interviewing, conducting 1:1s, customer outreach, and managing remote teams.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing registration systems for vital events.
• 10+ years of experience in JAVA, SQL, architecting software applications, PHP, VBScript, debugging, and scrum/agile development.
