About the position
The Software Architect position at a risk analyst company focuses on contributing to the design, coding, and architecture initiatives for the company's modernization efforts. The role emphasizes transitioning from a legacy .NET SQL monolithic architecture to a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-Driven Design (EDD) microservices architecture. This fully remote position requires a strong backend focus, with the architect expected to engage in hands-on coding alongside the team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design and architecture initiatives for modernization efforts.
- Engage in hands-on coding for backend development.
- Collaborate with the team on coding tasks and individual projects.
- Transition legacy systems to SOA/EDD microservices architecture.
Requirements
- Proficiency in .NET Core
- Strong experience with C#
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of Azure
- Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture
- Strong skills in AWS
