About the position

Autodesk is seeking a Software Architect to join the COO Architecture team, focusing on architecting Go-to-Market systems. This role involves providing strategic solutions to enhance sales and customer success strategies, influencing the architecture of the sales and customer success tech stack, and driving the company's digital transformation. The position requires collaboration with various partners to define technical needs and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture to guide the development of the strategic roadmap for Sales and Customer Success.
  • Define end-to-end system architecture across third-party and internal systems for sales and customer success goals.
  • Stay updated on innovations in Sales and Customer Success domains, including CRM, Data Policy, and generative AI.
  • Guide technology strategy and build modern cloud-based, event-driven data systems that scale with business needs.
  • Collaborate with partners to define future state technical needs and design data integrations.
  • Determine build versus buy strategies and provide architecture guidance for efficiency and security.
  • Build conceptual and logical data models in collaboration with Data Architects.
  • Break down complex topics for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Influence architecture decisions based on modern technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements such as availability, scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and governance are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • 12+ years of experience in software delivery focusing on Sales, Customer Success, and CRM domains.
  • Salesforce Certifications are required.
  • Experience with data integrations including APIs, front-end, backend, and security layers.
  • Domain knowledge in marketing, CRM, ERP, customer success, and data analytics tools.
  • 8+ years of experience with customer success/sales systems, including knowledge of Sales Cloud and Success Cloud (Salesforce).
  • Experience as an architect in a large organization within major software domains.
  • Knowledge of compliance and data governance (GDPR, SOX, etc.).
