About the position

The Software Architect position is a remote role focused on designing and maintaining cloud-hosted web and mobile solutions, particularly in the healthcare domain. The architect will guide developers in best practices for coding end-to-end solutions and will be responsible for understanding system design, data integration, and interoperability. Candidates should have experience with various platforms and a strong technical background in software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud-hosted web and mobile solutions.
• Provide guidance to developers on best practices for coding new solutions.
• Understand and govern data exchange in an enterprise environment.
• Communicate technical concepts to development teams, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to determine technical requirements.

Requirements

• Strong technical architecture skills with hands-on experience in software design.
• Experience in data integration and interoperability, particularly in healthcare.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise solution delivery.
• Experience with search engines and related technologies (e.g., Lucidworks Fusion, Coveo).
• Ability to create visual representations of data flows and system architecture.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure and Google Cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (health/marketing cloud).
• Healthcare domain expertise, including knowledge of Cerner Soarian and Epic/My Chart.
• Experience with AI applied solutions in healthcare.
