About the position

CACI is seeking a senior software architect to support and build new capabilities for the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), which encompasses various applications related to DoD procurement. The role involves analyzing and implementing solutions to complex problems, architecting data models, enhancing Java applications, and leading efforts to improve the PIEE. The position requires collaboration within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) team and includes responsibilities for coaching team members.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement solutions using technology to solve complex problems around government contract and procurement data.
• Architect data models and enhance Java applications.
• Build reports and author white papers.
• Optimize user experience and lead enhancements for the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
• Work as part of a Scaled Agile (SAFe) team to make adjustments or recommend enhancements in systems and processes.
• Coach and review the work of other teammates.

Requirements

• Typically has a University Degree (BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work experience.
• Experience developing Java-based enterprise web applications.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, JSF or equivalent.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and cloud-hosted environments.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Big Data technologies.
• Familiarity with Oracle.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with container management tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Apache NiFi and Elasticsearch/Kibana.
• Experience with Git / GitLab source code management tools.
