About the position

Guidehouse is seeking a Software Architect to join their team in Northern Virginia. The role involves reviewing system software architectures and designs to support the integration of all systems and shared components. The Software Architect will provide technical guidance to the software engineering team and collaborate with the Systems Engineering team to overcome technical obstacles, while also planning for capacity management and migration execution.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to software engineering team and collaborates with Systems Engineering team in overcoming technical obstacles.
• Plans for capacity management/demand management, migration and integration planning and execution.
• Reviews software architecture designs.
• Works in a fast-paced environment and comprehensively problem solves independent of external guidance.

Requirements

• A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) Polygraph
• SIXTEEN (16) years of experience specific to technical and programmatic integration, software development, software architecture or a related field
• Bachelor's degree

Nice-to-haves

• A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with FULL SCOPE (FS) Polygraph
• Relevant certification(s) in software architecture or IT/systems development
