About the position

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Software Architect with a Secret Clearance to support the Office of Foreign Missions Information System (TOMIS) in Washington, DC. This role involves software application development, system administration, and help desk support, aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the Department of State. The position is intended for future business opportunities and requires a strong background in software architecture and development.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex requirements and design, develop, and implement application systems and components using Microsoft Development Tools (.NET, MVC).
• Lead enterprise-wide software development efforts.
• Create, modify, maintain, test, and implement complex software applications.
• Utilize Object-oriented design (OOD) principles in software development.
• Develop applications using Agile methodology.
• Manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining high motivation and flexibility.
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in software development and architecture.
• Formal training in .NET programming practices is preferred.
• Secret Clearance is required.
