About the position

CACI is seeking a senior software architect to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, focusing on building new capabilities for the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). This role involves analyzing and implementing solutions to complex problems related to government contract and procurement data, while also leading efforts to enhance the PIEE.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and implement solutions using technology to solve complex problems around government contract and procurement data.
• Architect data models and create/enhance Java applications.
• Build reports and author white papers.
• Optimize user experience and lead enhancement efforts for the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
• Work as part of a Scaled Agile (SAFe) team, making adjustments or recommending enhancements in systems and processes.
• Coach and review the work of other teammates.

Requirements

• Typically has a University Degree (BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of related work experience.
• Ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Experience developing Java-based enterprise web applications.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, JSF or equivalent.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
• Experience in cloud-hosted environments.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies.
• Experience with Oracle.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with container management (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Apache NiFi.
• Experience with Elasticsearch/Kibana.
• Experience with Git / GitLab source code management tools.
