About the position

The Microservices Architect at Infosys will be responsible for providing technical solutions and best practices in the industry, focusing on cloud platforms using Springboot and microservices to meet customer requirements. This role requires extensive experience in application development and support, particularly in Java Microservices and AWS, and involves collaboration with diverse teams to communicate complex technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions on cloud platforms using Springboot and microservices.
• Impart best practices in the industry related to microservices architecture.
• Communicate complex technology solutions to technical, business, and management teams.
• Support application development and maintenance in a cloud environment.
• Manage a team of developers and support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
• At least 7 years of experience with application development and support.
• At least 7 years of experience with Java Microservices and Springboot.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure.
• Experience with web application support on NodeJS.
• Experience with Development/Support on Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Experience managing a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
