About the position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Software Automation Engineer to support a Visa Credentialing Program for the TSA in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves defining test requirements and validating software for a critical TSA program, requiring a candidate with hands-on experience in automated testing and a strong understanding of software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with developers, professional services team, and product managers to define automated testing components for validating software requirements.
• Conduct automation results analysis and generate automation result reports.
• Participate in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in software testing.
• 1-2 years of hands-on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).
• Experience with test management tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, and Rational Team Concert.
• Familiarity with API and regression testing.
• Knowledge in REST/SOAP API design concepts with JSON/XML.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD).
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Cucumber.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Swagger and REST client.
• Experience with automation tools such as JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, and REST API.
