About the position

Wipfli is seeking a motivated Business Developer to join their Construction and Real Estate (CRE) team. This role focuses on driving new business sales, building relationships with key accounts, and managing complex sales pursuits. The ideal candidate will engage in sales execution, planning, and marketing efforts to foster prospects and convert them into sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary new business sales contact for Wipfli's CRE Practice.
  • Create awareness and build relationships with key accounts and Relationship Executives.
  • Represent the technology stack and other offerings within CRE.
  • Develop prospects through external referral sources, associations, and networking groups.
  • Manage multiple, complex pursuits and coordinate sales efforts with subject matter experts and consultants.
  • Participate in trade shows and regional industry events.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the value proposition.
  • Help direct marketing campaigns and follow up on marketing qualified leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of consultative selling experience in the software industry.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Procore, Sage, and the Microsoft Stack is a plus.
  • Experience in Construction and Real Estate (CRE) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with selling intangibles and value-added services.
  • Ability to craft and execute strategic and tactical plans to close projects and services.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new client relationships.
  • Ability to manage and sell on social platforms.
  • Ability to influence decision-makers at the highest levels in client organizations.
  • High integrity and commitment to honoring commitments.
