Responsibilities

• Design and implement features that process and serve large datasets.
• Craft systems to model, ingest, process, and compute large-scale data.
• Analyze data to assist product teams in developing creative features.
• Build and run large-scale data pipelines, including distributed messaging systems.
• Troubleshoot and prevent performance issues related to distributed storage and network resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with distributed computing technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, and SQL.
• Expertise in designing and supporting highly scalable data systems and services.
• Experience building large-scale data pipelines, including data ingest from various sources.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Apache Iceberg tables.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
