About the position

The Software/Database Developer will be an integral part of a dynamic team in Greenwood Village, CO, focusing on critical projects that involve database administration, security, development, and troubleshooting. This role combines administrative and development tasks, emphasizing the management of NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra, while collaborating with full-time employees to deliver innovative database solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot NoSQL databases, focusing on Cassandra.
• Ensure database security and performance optimization.
• Collaborate on the design, commissioning, and development of databases for various projects.
• Write SQL queries for ETL processes and optimize data workflows.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of database systems using Python.
• Support full-time team members in delivering project milestones.
• Automate database-related tasks using scripting languages.

Requirements

• Strong expertise with NoSQL databases, particularly Cassandra.
• Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining databases.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries for ETL processes.
• Working knowledge of Python, particularly in database integration and automation.
• Ability to write and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks.
