About the position

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role at PayPal focuses on championing the automated assessment of product deliverables for the PayPal Consumer iOS and Android Apps. This position involves collaborating with various teams to ensure code quality and enhance product processes, while also supporting Continuous Integration, Quality, and Release processes.

Responsibilities

• Champion the automated assessment of product deliverables for the PayPal Consumer iOS and Android Apps.
• Collaborate with app engineering, design, content, and product teams to test and iterate on new solutions.
• Work closely with tools and infrastructure teams to support Continuous Integration and Quality processes.

Requirements

• Background writing mobile functional automation tests, preferred.
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Excellent understanding of automation frameworks.
• Good experience with XCode or Android Studio IDE.
• Good experience writing XCUITest or Espresso/UI Automator tests.
• Good experience with continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins 2.0).
• Proficiency administering Unix-based platforms.
• B.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science.
