About the position

As a Software Development Engineer in the Mobile Experience team at Amazon, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging mobile experiences that enhance the accessibility of information for AI models and customers. This role involves collaboration with product and design teams to create exceptional user experiences, while also mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices in software development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to define and implement exceptional user experiences
• Build a world-class mobile experience for our customers
• Work closely with product managers and UX designers to define features
• Understand latest trends in mobile technology and work across Amazon mobile teams
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and tools owned by the team
• Solve problems and be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that's higher than most projects

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
