About the position

The Software Developer 2 position involves researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs. The role requires collaboration with other developers, UX designers, and business analysts to ensure the development of high-quality software solutions. The developer will be responsible for coding, testing, and debugging complex programs while adhering to established development standards and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, implement, and manage software programs.
  • Test and evaluate new programs.
  • Work closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.
  • Design, code, and modify complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts using Angular, C#, ASP.net, and Oracle Database.
  • Perform necessary testing of assigned programs, including generating test data, writing test scripts, and debugging errors.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in computer programming, analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions.
  • 7 years of experience in coding, testing, and debugging programs in development or requiring support for issue resolution, performance, or enhancement.
  • 7 years of ability to process information logically; design programs and systems logic; prepare program specifications.
  • 7 years of highly developed oral and written communication skills.
  • 7 years of high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output.
  • 7 years of knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends and market experience.
  • 7 years of knowledge of architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure and applications.
  • 7 years of knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to information systems.
  • 7 years of knowledge of tools and techniques for protecting corporate data integrity and associated processing.
  • 7 years of knowledge of solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodology.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of familiarity with the company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
  • 2 years of familiarity with existing and planned software technology and the software architecture and infrastructure components.
