The advisor will also provide advanced guidance on software or system documentation, which is essential for future maintenance and updates. In addition to development tasks, the role includes providing advanced analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status. This position is integral to ensuring that the software solutions developed are not only functional but also maintainable and scalable, aligning with the organization's strategic goals. The advisor will work closely with various stakeholders, including customers, to ensure that their needs are met and that the software solutions provided are of the highest quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with ServiceNow, and will be expected to leverage their expertise to enhance the organization's software capabilities. This role is a day shift position, operating Monday through Friday, and is located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
• Applies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Implements software updates, refinements, testing, and debugging to meet business needs.
• Provides advanced guidance on software or system documentation for optimal future maintenance and updates.
• Conducts advanced analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with FS Poly required.
• High school diploma or GED with 19 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification required.
• Experience in software development is mandatory.
• Strong customer-facing skills and communication skills are essential.
• Creative problem-solving skills are necessary.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ServiceNow CAM, RMF, GRC, and/or SecOps modules.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• ServiceNow Certified Administrator certification.
