About the position

The Sr. Software Developer Advisor position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the research, design, development, and modification of enterprise-wide systems and applications software. This position requires a candidate with a TS/SCI clearance and a polygraph, ensuring that sensitive information is handled with the utmost security and integrity. The successful candidate will apply advanced knowledge throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will be responsible for software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging, all aimed at meeting specific business needs. Your expertise will be essential in providing advanced guidance on software or system documentation, ensuring that future maintenance and updates are streamlined and well-documented. Additionally, you will conduct advanced analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status, contributing to the overall success of the software development initiatives within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
  • Applies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Applies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs.
  • Provides advanced guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates.
  • Provides advanced analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status.

Requirements

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent
  • High School Diploma or GED plus up to 25 years of experience required, or equivalent combination such as a BS and 20 years of experience.
  • Creative Problem Solving
  • Javascript
  • ServiceNow Software Development

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow CAM, RMF, GRC, and/or SecOps modules
  • NIST SP 800-53 Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator
