About the position

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer with over 10 years of experience to work on a Department of Defense program at Point Mugu Naval Air Station. The role involves developing, creating, and modifying software applications, with a focus on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines. Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Design software or customize software for client use to optimize operational efficiency.
• Analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or as part of a team.
• Supervise computer programmers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development and related duties.
• 3 years' experience with Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines.
• 3 years' experience with Java, JavaScript, Containers, and Micro-services architecture.
• 3 years' experience with SQL.
• 2 years' experience with HTML and CSS.
• 2 years' experience with Git.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred.
• Experience with AMQP (RabbitMQ).
• Experience with Java ORM such as Hibernate.
• Experience with Java with Spring or Java EE.
• Experience with Restful web services, SPA, ReactJS/Redux, and WebSockets.
