About the position

As a Software Developer at Unisys, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with the Security Architecture and Engineering team to design secure single sign-on (SSO) integration patterns. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with partners and customers to implement these delivery patterns effectively. This position requires you to integrate single sign-on capabilities into applications to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with enterprise standards. You will also be tasked with designing and developing custom frameworks tailored to the specific needs of various projects. In addition to development tasks, you will be responsible for providing regular status reports on the progress of each phase of the iterations, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates. Your analytical skills will be essential as you develop and implement solutions for process improvements and new business initiatives. You will need to leverage your understanding of the existing systems to enhance application processes using the current technology stack and frameworks. This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role allows for 100% telecommuting within the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania, although you may be assigned to unanticipated client locations across the United States. Given the nature of the work, you may need access to export-controlled commodities and technology, which necessitates eligibility for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Security Architecture and Engineering team to design secure single sign-on integration patterns.
  • Work with partners and customers to implement delivery patterns for single sign-on.
  • Integrate single sign-on capabilities into applications to remediate risks and meet enterprise standards.
  • Design and develop custom frameworks based on project needs.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports on project iterations.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement solutions for process improvements and new business initiatives.
  • Enhance application processes by understanding existing systems and utilizing the current tech stack and frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related role in the IT industry.
  • 2 years of experience in Core Java.
  • 2 years of experience in Apache Maven.
  • 2 years of experience in Unit Testing.
  • 2 years of experience in Spring Boot.
  • 1 year of experience in Java/J2EE.
