About the position

TaxSlayer is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to create comprehensive solutions across all product lines. The role involves building, testing, and deploying new features and products while ensuring high-quality software delivery in an agile environment. The developer will collaborate with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and implement security measures to mitigate cyber risks.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy new features and products.
• Create effective and efficient software applications with well-tested and well-documented code.
• Work closely with other developers, designers, and leadership.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Work in an agile environment with sprints, refinement sessions, retrospectives, and frequent releases.
• Implement security and data protection measures and monitor cyber security risks.

Requirements

• Proficient in C#
• Proficient with client-side languages (e.g. JavaScript/Typescript, CSS, HTML)
• Experience with client-side frameworks (e.g. ReactJS or AngularJS)
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
• Experience writing unit/integration/E2E tests
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and software architectures
• Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with a variety of people
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum work environment
• Familiarity with DevOps technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Non-Relational databases (e.g. Redis)
• Experience with ASP.NET
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
