About the position

The Systems Developer Co-op at Siemens Healthineers is a role designed for motivated students looking to gain hands-on experience in developing automation tests for healthcare products. This position involves working in a dynamic environment where the intern will support the design and development of high-quality automated tests, contributing to the improvement of healthcare solutions globally.

Responsibilities

  • Support designing and developing high quality automated tests at integration/system level.
  • Writing automation code and providing good strategy for automation development.
  • Modularizing code for extensibility, reusability, and maintainability.
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing automated test suite.
  • Execution and analysis of daily test results.
  • Involve in continuous improvement of the testable automated code to make it reliable and fast.
  • Helping with identifying any test gaps during product verification.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (minimum rising senior preferred).
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Familiarity with C#, VB.NET, or any other OOPS programming language with basic knowledge of design principles and patterns.
  • Knowledge of typical software development processes/methodologies.
  • Some experience in automation testing for healthcare applications is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and learn new technologies in an agile environment.
