As a Software Developer specializing in Connected Vehicles at Trihydro Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions that enhance communication between various transportation modes and infrastructure. By enabling vehicles to communicate with each other and with infrastructure, this technology aims to significantly reduce traffic-related injuries and fatalities. You will collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including state Departments of Transportation (DOTs), the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), and various third-party consumers of connected vehicle data. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support connected vehicle initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our clients and adhere to industry standards. Your contributions will not only enhance the functionality of our products but also help shape the future of transportation technology.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications for connected vehicle technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet client needs.
  • Support the integration of connected vehicle systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of software applications to ensure quality and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development, particularly in C++, Java, or Python.
  • Familiarity with connected vehicle technologies and communication protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
