About the position

The Software Developer will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's technology offerings for golfers, focusing on B2B, ecommerce, and consumer-facing platforms. This position involves collaborating with various teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions that improve the online experience for golf course operations and customers.

Responsibilities

• Work in the implementation of various modules for the large suite of ecommerce products and consumer-oriented websites and Web Services.
• Work directly with product and business users in delivering new projects.
• Provide development support to current products.
• Write use cases, requirement specifications, system documentation, and other project deliverables.
• Comment, manage, and merge code.
• Create automated unit test cases and test data.
• Test and debug code.
• Participate in code walkthroughs as needed to ensure quality.
• Deliver software on time and to specification, with minimal supervision.
• Build trust and cooperation between IT, internal clients, and external vendors.
• Manage end user expectations and gain user acceptance of all project deliverables.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical expertise in .NET (C#), ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and Windows stack.
• 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Proficient with HTML, CSS, DOM, and JavaScript skills.
• Demonstrable experience with JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Ajax (Single-page interface; XPath targeting; Comprehensive event model; State and the observer pattern).
• Understanding of data modeling and SQL.
• Experience in a collaborative, team-driven software engineering environment.
• Participation in full development life cycle.
• Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience gathering and developing system requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
