About the position

The Software Developer position at Claim IT involves participating in the design, development, and implementation of software applications for the Claim suite of products. This role is crucial for ensuring that software solutions meet business expectations and performance standards while adhering to enterprise guidelines. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a prestigious global organization, emphasizing a commitment to high-quality work and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform software development to support Claim Systems, including the Claim Platform and third-party products.
• Participate in design and development efforts, including estimation, work breakdown, and technical resource allocation needs.
• Engineer and integrate solutions to a point of production readiness, including documentation, testing, deployment, and support procedures.
• Ensure solution design aligns with enterprise guidelines and meets business expectations, performance SLAs, and architectural standards.
• Deliver solutions that meet functional specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Communicate and enforce best practices, standards, and tools for design and build.

Requirements

• 2 - 5 years of design and development experience.
• 2 - 5 years of Microsoft .NET experience.
• Experience with .NET Framework 3.5 and/or 4.0, XML, AJAX.
• Experience with ASP.NET and VB.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline preferred.

• Experience in use case analysis, design analysis, UML diagramming.
• Automated Unit Testing and TDD experience.
