About the position

The Software Developer position at Charles Schwab involves working as a Full Stack Developer within the Schwab Asset Management Services (SAMS) Technology team. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of the investment management technology platform, adhering to established coding practices and standards. The developer will engage in all phases of the software lifecycle, collaborating closely with the team to set up implementation patterns and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the investment management technology platform.
• Adopt established coding practices and standards set by architects.
• Collaborate with the team during all phases of the software lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Set up implementation patterns for software development.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience developing enterprise class applications using .NET and C#, particularly distributed and Cloud applications.
• 4+ years of full stack development experience including C#, SQL, HTML5, Angular/Backbone, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, etc.
• 2+ years experience working in Agile scrum teams.
• 1+ years of experience with SOLID principles, 12-Factor App, and design patterns.
• Experience or knowledge of CI/CD.
• Experience or knowledge of database design and development (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience or knowledge with Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong ability to design, code, and debug applications in various software languages.
