About the position

The Software Developer position at ManTech in Crane, Indiana, is a hybrid role focused on developing and maintaining software, web, and hardware products. The developer will analyze user requirements, design user interfaces, and oversee the entire development cycle from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. This role requires collaboration with various network operating systems and hardware devices, ensuring the integration and functionality of the systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
• Designing and developing user interfaces.
• Determining design methodologies and completing programming tasks.
• Designing and conducting testing for software products.
• Overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web, and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.
• Integrating various network operating systems, application programs, and hardware devices.
• Managing the development cycle associated with producing resilient software, hardware, and web applications, including specification, design, coding, testing, and maintenance.
• Designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining the organization's systems infrastructure.

Requirements

• One of the following or ability to obtain: Security, CCNA-Security, GICSP or equivalent DoD 8570.01 IAT-2 certification is required.
• BS and 0 years of experience OR Associates Degree with 4 years of experience OR High School Diploma with 6 years of experience.
• 3 years of related IT experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience in customer service environments.
• Experience working with Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGS).
