Responsibilities

• Build, design, and maintain an API-level persistence layer of data organized into a semantic knowledge graph.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java and TypeScript.
• Design and build API features to support the content creation pipeline.
• Manage and model graph data for operational stability of a central persistence platform.
• Collaborate with client teams to refine, expand, and enhance a persistence API.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS services such as Neptune, Dynamo, Fargate, OpenSearch, API Gateway, EventBridge, and CDK.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and APIs.
• Knowledge of design patterns and software development life cycle (SDLC).
