About the position

The Software Developer III position is a remote role aimed at supporting various business units within the organization by creating efficiencies and automating manual processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new software solutions and maintaining existing internally developed and vendor-supplied solutions. This role requires a strong focus on designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks that facilitate continuous integration, delivery, and deployment. The developer will also be tasked with implementing and maintaining version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies. Continuous improvement of processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity is a key aspect of this position, ensuring that the organization remains competitive and effective in its operations.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Implementing and maintaining version control systems, configuration management tools, and other DevOps-related technologies.
• Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• BS/BA/MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related area.
• Proven experience in software development, IT operations, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Proficiency with Gitflows.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of databases.
• Familiarity with security best practices and implementing security measures in the SDLC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• At least 3 years of experience with the above duties mentioned.
