About the position

The Software Developer III will play a vital role in the Electrophysiology Division, focusing on the development and deployment of software and system architecture for medical devices. This position involves participating in all phases of the software lifecycle, from concept development to testing, ensuring that the software meets specific performance requirements and adheres to quality system standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software applications embedded in diagnostic and interventional cardiology devices.
  • Participate in the software lifecycle including concept development, requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Create and implement software/test plans/protocols and generate test reports to ensure compliance with specifications and quality system requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, RA, test engineers, and hardware engineers, to ensure firmware design meets product requirements.
  • Document and transfer developed solutions to the manufacturing team for mass production and provide technical support during the launch phase.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related discipline (preferred).
  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Visual C++ or .Net technology with a focus on object-oriented analysis and design.
  • Understanding of medical device development requirements and experience in the field.
  • Excellent documentation skills in a highly regulated development environment.
  • Strong Object-Oriented Design C++ and Qt programming experience.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with OpenGL Computer Shader Language or CUDA and general stream programming concepts.
  • Experience with Nvidia GPU programming and OpenGL 2D/3D Texture Mapping techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience in computational geometry algorithms.
  • GUI development experience, preferably with Qt/QML.
