About the position

SOSi is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer/Analyst to provide functional and technical direction for the PeopleSoft 9.2 Federal Payroll/HR/Benefits program. This role involves analyzing business processes, translating customer requirements, and developing solutions within the PeopleSoft application while ensuring adherence to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical processes to develop new and modified business information processing.
  • Research functionality questions related to PeopleSoft.
  • Translate customer requirements into best-fit solutions within the PeopleSoft application.
  • Develop processes and documentation supporting the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Provide production support and collaborate with teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Serve as developer and analyst to provide solutions using delivered functionalities or customizations.
  • Formulate management reports and summarize findings for customer communications.
  • Develop Time and Labor customizations and implementations.
  • Create approval workflows and develop Fluid Interface/Framework using PeopleTools 8.58.
  • Develop Time and Labor WorkCenter/Dashboard and reports.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience may substitute for degree).
  • Seven years of experience with PeopleSoft Release 9.x Payroll/HR/Benefits.
  • Expert knowledge of PeopleTools including SQR, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, COBOL, BI Publisher, and Query.
  • Experience with analysis and implementation of Oracle PUMs and Tax updates.
  • Functional and technical understanding of key processes in PeopleSoft Payroll/HR/Benefits and Accounting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Federal Payroll is desired.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
