About the position

StratasCorp Technologies is seeking a Software Developer to support the Navy Information Operations Database (NIODB) for the AN/BLQ-10(B) mission. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .Net programming, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Blazor, and will be responsible for both collaborative and independent technical challenges. This position requires on-site support, focusing on software application and database design, development, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in software application/database design for the SIPR NIODB and associated applications.
• Utilize SQL, PL/SQL, MVC, and Blazor to build software and database solutions supported by Oracle Enterprise RDBMS.
• Support current programming languages including C#, JQuery, Javascript, JSON, and Python, while proposing new technologies based on industry trends.
• Assist in converting existing data elements to conform to customer Database Design Description (DBDD) and Entity Relation Diagrams (ERDs).
• Maintain, secure, and document existing and newly developed software code.
• Liaise with National and Service Organizations to incorporate new database formats into the Navy's authoritative database.
• Support testing, verification, and validation of data products and data management applications.
• Develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) and related documentation to support Fleet requirements and IO capabilities.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to manage Kanban boards, repositories, testing, and pipelines in two-week sprints.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably with Oracle RDBMS and SQL development/maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience in MS .NET application development/maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience with XML, including XML schemas and XSLT for data parsing and import into Oracle RDBMS.
• DOD 8570 CSWF certification: Security+ CE is required.
• Ability to attain MS .NET Framework certification within 6 months.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Electronic Warfare data is desired but not required.
