Software Developer - Java Full Stack(FSD)

About the position

As a software developer, you will work with clients and others in a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop solutions. You will design, code, and test solutions for IBM Z platform, that use programming languages including Java, C/C++, Assembler, PL1. You would also be involved in process automation and code deployments using top of stack scripting languages and tools.

Requirements

• 7-9 years of experience in Java FSD development.
• Experience working with the Eclipse platform specifically while developing APIs (Backend).
• Expertise on scripting languages such as Typescript, Java Script.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement software solutions.
• Experience with SCMs like Git and IBM Engineering Workflow Management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for learning and staying current with new technologies and trends in Java development and the Eclipse platform.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with VS Code and building VS Code Extensions.
• Experience and Proficiency in scripting with a solid grasp of its syntax and tooling.
• Familiarity with z/OS systems.
• Experience with cloud-based development platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic development environment.
