About the position

As a Software Developer at MI Technical Solutions, you will be responsible for building full-stack web applications and stand-alone applications to support government customers. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment throughout the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, while collaborating with a development team. You will create and maintain both front-end and back-end components of applications, ensuring production support and utilizing various technologies and programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack web applications and stand-alone applications.
• Create and update web pages, middleware, and databases/datastores.
• Write custom code and utilize approved third-party applications.
• Create and maintain both front-end and back-end of applications.
• Provide production support and respond to escalated trouble tickets.
• Utilize source control and employ DevOps principles in software creation.
• Work with team members to deploy software and administer servers.

Requirements

• Three or more years of development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or Mathematics.
• Possess a government clearance or ability to obtain one (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Familiarity with Mobile/Web Development, Front-End and Back-End Development skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages: C#, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, PowerShell.
• Experience with frameworks/libraries: .Net Core, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, Bootstrap, Django, web2py, JSON.
• Familiarity with servers: Node.js, Apache, or IIS.
• Experience with IDEs: Visual Studio, PyCharm, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development, Unit Testing, Git, and Jenkins.
