About the position

The Sr. Software Developer (VueJS) role involves developing web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and REST APIs. The position is part of an agile team focused on delivering high-quality enterprise software, with responsibilities including mentoring junior developers and participating in code reviews. The role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as the ability to evaluate and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop Web Applications using REST APIs and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Angular, React, VueJS) and CSS frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap)
• Be part of an agile team delivering high quality enterprise software
• Develop design documentation as per the computer system validation process
• Work independently as well as with other team members to implement and support planned functionality
• Lead and mentor junior developers and assist them in developing robust applications
• Participate in the code review process to ensure the developed adheres to the best coding practices
• Adhere to build-and-release schedules and strategies
• Evaluate new technologies and remain current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
• Drive and aptitude for learning new skills
• Ability to communicate effectively

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• 6+ years' experience in developing Web Applications using modern front-end frameworks like VueJS, Angular, React
• Experience in developing REST APIs using C# .NET Web API and integrating with frontend frameworks
• Experience with debugging Web Applications using the Chrome developer tool
• Experience with Bootstrap CSS library
• Experience in developing optimized MS SQL stored procedures for large data sets
• Experience with object-oriented concepts and design patterns
• Experience in Agile software development
• Experience with Team Foundation Server as a code repository is a plus

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with Cloud technologies AWS or Azure
• Experience/Knowledge in developing applications using open source technologies
