About the position

The .NET Software Developer position at Codeworks involves supporting the Private Wealth Management Team through various development tasks, including API and UI development, as well as back-end application development. This role emphasizes a collaborative DevOps culture and offers opportunities for professional growth within a team-focused environment. The position is a long-term contract with a hybrid work model, requiring three days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Support the Private Wealth Management Team with software development tasks.
• Engage in greenfield development and support lifecycle activities.
• Develop APIs and user interfaces for applications.
• Work on back-end application development for overnight processing.
• Participate in projects related to tax document processing and automation of trade processing.
• Collaborate with team members through pair programming and agile practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with .NET technologies and web services.
• Proficiency in C#, T-SQL, and Web API.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Exposure to Entity Framework or other Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex code and data issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SSIS, MVC, CA Autosys, Azure development, and Angular.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
