About the position

The Operations P&L team at Susquehanna is focused on developing and optimizing systems for firm-wide profit/loss and net worth reporting. This role involves collaborating with various technical teams to build a new platform utilizing WCF services and DevExpress controls, aimed at enhancing operational processes and ensuring high performance and stability in data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize systems for processing large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, network architects, technical analysts, and software developers to create competitive technical solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Contribute to the development and support of hardware and software solutions that impact the firm.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline (or foreign equivalent).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in developing software applications using an object-oriented language.
• 5+ years of recent hands-on experience with .NET, C#, or Java technologies.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in proprietary trading or financial services is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to innovate and learn continuously.
