About the position

The Information Technology department is seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Application Developer. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining and developing a variety of applications that support the Landlord.com systems and its users. The successful candidate will be expected to provide thorough documentation of all programming activities, ensuring that all changes and updates are well recorded for future reference. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as the individual will need to quickly and reliably resolve issues that arise, ensuring that users receive high-quality service at all times. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in programming and systems management, with a focus on delivering effective solutions to enhance user experience and system functionality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop applications for the Landlord.com systems.
• Provide documentation of all programming activities.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve issues quickly and reliably.
• Ensure quality service to users by addressing their needs effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant education and experience.
• Strong working knowledge of C++.
• Experience with UNIX and VAX/VMS operating systems.
• Good communication skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in C programming language.
