About the position

The Senior Appian Developer will work closely with the development team to achieve the objectives set for each Agile Sprint. This role involves collaborating with Business System Analysts to understand software requirements and delivering high-quality results. The developer will engage with various functional experts and the Compliance One Development Team to create innovative software solutions on the Appian platform, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business System Analysts (BSAs) to understand software requirements and deliver expected results with quality and detail.
• Interface with functional experts from Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Supervision & Controls (S&C), and the client's management team.
• Engage with the Compliance One Development Team to develop software solutions on the Appian platform.
• Create and implement innovative technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Partner with the Technology Team to engage with business partners for solution creation and validation.

Requirements

• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field/degree.
• 5+ years of experience in building and delivering Appian software solutions.
• Experience with Appian application architecture and designing end-to-end solutions.
• Experience working with Appian cloud is preferred.
• Experience in monitoring and identifying risks from Appian health checks.
• Experience in translating business process software requirement specifications into prototypes and solutions.
• Knowledge of software testing practices.
• Experience designing data schemas and models.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL is preferred.
• Experience developing integrations using APIs.
• Experience with agile software development practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Microsoft .NET (specifically C#) and other related web technologies.
• SQL experience and familiarity with the Microsoft SQL Server Platform.
• Understanding of CI (Continuous Integration) / CD (Continuous Delivery) and their benefits.
• Experience with the Atlassian set of tools for Agile project/code management (BitBucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence).
