About the position

The Software Developer position focuses on developing and modifying enterprise-wide systems and applications software within a secure environment. The role requires advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle and involves working closely with software updates, testing, and debugging to meet business needs. The position is located in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
  • Applies advanced knowledge to all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Applies advanced knowledge to software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs.
  • Provides advance analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status.
  • Provides advanced guidance on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates.

Requirements

  • Must be highly skilled in the use of JavaScript.
  • Must be ServiceNow Certified Administrator.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional 14 years of experience; OR a HS/GED diploma with 19 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education level.
  • Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II Security+ CE certification.
  • Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired.
  • Current active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
