About the position

We’re looking for a Software Developer/System Administrator to program, test, debug, configure, and maintain ServiceNow. In this role, you will design workflows, script, and participate in all build/configuration, testing, and implementation activities. You will also be involved in analysis and troubleshooting to meet the specifications of small projects and service requests. This position requires coordination of application and platform upgrades in conjunction with a third-party support team, ensuring that all upgrades are executed smoothly and efficiently. You will work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow, monitoring the health, usage, and overall compliance of the platform. Your responsibilities will also include performing testing and installation of ServiceNow updates and new releases, ensuring that the system remains up-to-date and functional. Additionally, you will plan and develop procedures and training that will assist end users on software, including updates to technical system documentation and training materials. Another key aspect of your role will be assisting in building and maintaining internal technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes to support the organization’s operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design workflows and scripts for ServiceNow.
  • Participate in all build/configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Coordinate application and platform upgrades with third-party support teams.
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Entry-level position requiring no related work experience; however, one or more years of related experience is preferred.

  • Experience with ServiceNow or familiarity with similar ticketing systems.

  • Experience with scripting and CMDB.
  • Experience creating and calling Webservices.
