About the position

The Software Developer position at VGM Group, Inc. involves developing internal applications that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce across various divisions and subsidiaries. Responsibilities

• Develop internal web applications for VGM divisions and subsidiaries.
• Provide programming support and application development for current and new applications.
• Adhere to and support development standards within the team.
• Assist in logical and physical database design.
• Participate in requirements gathering meetings and code review sessions.
• Solve business problems through technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in .Net, ASP.Net MVC, Node.js, Azure Cloud, Vue, Ruby, Python, and Elasticsearch.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented development principles.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
• SQL Server experience is desired.
• Strong conceptualization, analytical, and logic skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant Microsoft Certification is a bonus.
• Experience with .Net Core and JavaScript.
