About the position

The Software Developer role involves writing applications, troubleshooting and debugging existing code, and implementing custom application designs. The position requires proficiency in GoLang, Angular, MySQL, and Typescript, with a focus on maintaining modern coding standards and security practices. The developer will work in an agile environment, collaborating with product managers and sponsors to ensure customer satisfaction and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Write applications using GoLang, Angular, MySQL, and Typescript.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing code.
• Update tasks in project management software.
• Define requirements and scope projects based on user scenarios.
• Implement custom application designs considering time boxing and constraints.
• Develop applications with a lean mindset, focusing on the rationale behind development decisions.
• Demonstrate modern coding techniques that align with organizational standards.
• Package and publish applications for real-world deployment.
• Commit code regularly to the repository and maintain organized coding habits.
• Foster an active feedback loop with sponsors and product managers.
• Maintain code compliance with modern security standards such as OWASP and PCI.
• Use up-to-date communication protocols when writing and refactoring code.
• Maintain and validate the current code base, fixing bugs and improving applications in production environments.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by following up on bug fixes and requests.

Requirements

• At least three years of professional coding experience, preferably in GoLang.
• Experience with full stack development in an agile work environment.
• Familiarity with coding standards, code reviews, testing, and dev operations.
• No current or future sponsorship required to work in the US.
