In this position, you will design, develop, test, and implement web-based systems for both intranet and extranet applications. Applicants must be self-motivated and able to contribute in a team environment. You will work closely with and communicate with other developers, business units, and outside vendors. Applications will relate to all areas of business operations, encompassing new systems development projects, existing systems maintenance, and transition projects involving legacy systems. Flexible work hours between 6:30 am and 5:30 pm with a 4-day work week possible, as well as the opportunity to work remotely a portion of the time. While there is an opportunity to work in a hybrid model for a portion of the time, the ability to commute to the job location is still required.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, codes, compiles, tests and documents new programs as requested.
  • Coordinates implementation of new programs/systems.
  • Troubleshoots problems as they occur and performs necessary repairs and tests.
  • Designs and controls use of data resources as required by programs/systems.
  • Creates and maintains physical data structures and data elements contained within.
  • Modifies and maintains existing programs/systems as necessary.
  • Redesigns, codes, compiles, tests and documents programs/systems.
  • Coordinates implementation of changes.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years of Age
  • Education/Training: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience and training preferred.
  • Comprehensive internet/extranet programming knowledge and good general business knowledge.
  • Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Principles, Design Patterns, and Software Engineering best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to create sound solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • An understanding of the following technologies is beneficial: .NET Core/.NET 5, RESTful APIs, Blazor, Entity Framework Core, Azure DevOps, Mobile Development, Xamarin Forms, Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, queries, stored procedures, etc.), Microsoft IIS/Azure, PowerShell, Information Builders Business Intelligence tools, Microsoft SharePoint administration and/or development, ServiceNow administration and/or development, Internet Security.
