About the position

Quality Carriers, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer to join their team, responsible for creating, maintaining, and testing custom software applications. This role involves working collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on project management to ensure timely delivery of software projects. The position is hybrid, requiring significant in-office presence initially, transitioning to a more flexible arrangement after the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Support existing software applications.
• Write new software code to specification.
• Ensure all code written is thoroughly unit-tested before release.
• Responsible for the development of detailed design documents and programming specifications.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4 Year Computer Science Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years experience working with C#, vb.net, SQL Server, source control systems.
• 3-5 years experience working knowledge of Microsoft Office products editing and publishing programs.
• Strong skills in Git, JavaScript, and SSIS are preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficient time management and organizational skills.
• Understanding of project management concepts.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Apps Suite.
