In this role, you will be expected to be a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will participate in software development as part of a multi-team, multi-organization enterprise using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will represent the team in meetings, providing technical analysis and recommendations, as well as developing and presenting meeting materials. Collaboration with other engineers and architects will be essential as you work to improve the software developed and enhance automation and process efficiency. Your willingness to collaborate with other development teams, customers, and users will be crucial in producing a product that strives to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in software development as part of a team contributing to a multi-team, multi-organization enterprise using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Represent the team in meetings, providing technical analysis and recommendations, and developing and presenting meeting materials.
  • Work with other engineers and architects to improve software development through automation and process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other development teams, customers, and users to produce desired products that exceed customer expectations.
  • Be a self-motivated individual comfortable working independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience is required.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance within 6-9 months of hire date.
  • Experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Proficiency in one or more high-level object-oriented languages such as C#, Java, or C++, with a preference for C#.
  • Experience with Web Application Design and Development using Angular, AngularJS, React, or ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience with designing and implementing automated unit tests and mocking libraries.
  • Proven debugging skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and customers.
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Active Security Clearance is preferred.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and any SAFe certification is a plus.
  • Experience with or understanding of Microservices architectures and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of and experience with applying software design patterns and SOLID design principles.
  • Familiarity with Git.
  • Experience with Robot Framework.
  • Experience with REST.
