About the position

Aspen Consulting Group is seeking a full-time Software Developer for a hybrid position at Aberdeen Proving Ground. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Modular Open RF Architecture (MORA) Software Working Group, focusing on developing reference code and test tools while supporting Army S&T projects and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop reference code and test tools for the Modular Open RF Architecture (MORA) Software Working Group.
  • Support Army S&T projects and programs as a primary software developer.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance software development workflows using various technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
  • 2+ years of programming experience, with 10+ years preferred.
  • Experience with Linux, Docker, C++11 (and up), CMake, Python, and Gitlab.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with service-based architecture, multi-threading, inter-process communications, and networking.
  • Familiarity with Modular Open Radio Frequency Architecture (MORA).
  • Experience with software defined radios, high performance data streaming, and digital signal processing.
  • Familiarity with VITA 49.2 VITA Radio Transport (VRT) Standard and C5ISR Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS).
  • An active DoD clearance.
