About the position

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a Software Developer to join our team at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in a hybrid role. The PSS-1 Software Systems Development (SSD) Team is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Software Developer (SD) to support a team responsible for the development of software tools that assist organizations in meeting their mission objectives. This role involves supporting the development of the new F.O.R.G.E. web application and adhering to the SCRUM Framework for software development. As a Software Developer, you will be expected to have experience working in a SCRUM Development environment. Proficiency in C# .NET Development, developing Blazor Web Applications, and working with Microsoft SQL is essential. You will also need to be familiar with Microsoft IIS Web Hosting Environment, Entity Framework, LINQ, and using SignalR for dynamic updates to web applications. Knowledge of Single Sign On (SSO) and SAML authentication best practices, API Development, securing APIs, unit testing, and Azure Dev Ops, including Pipelines, is also required. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in software development. Responsibilities

  • Support the development of software tools to assist organizations in meeting mission objectives.
  • Develop the new F.O.R.G.E. web application.
  • Adhere to the SCRUM Framework for software development.
  • Work with C# .NET Development and develop Blazor Web Applications.
  • Utilize Microsoft SQL and Microsoft IIS Web Hosting Environment.
  • Implement Entity Framework and LINQ in software development.
  • Use SignalR for dynamic updates to web applications.
  • Implement Single Sign On (SSO) and SAML authentication best practices.
  • Develop and secure APIs, including unit testing.
  • Utilize Azure Dev Ops, including Pipelines, for development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (MANDATORY).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in software development.
  • Experience working in a SCRUM Development environment.
  • Proficient in C# .NET Development.
  • Experience developing Blazor Web Applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL and Microsoft IIS Web Hosting Environment.
  • Knowledge of Entity Framework and LINQ.
  • Experience using SignalR for dynamic updates to web applications.
