About the position

The Software Developer position at Supreme Staffing Agency, on behalf of Western Door Federal, involves providing full-stack software development support for the Knowledge and Data Management Branch of DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center. The role focuses on developing and maintaining information systems that support critical government missions, particularly in the area of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense. The developer will work on a variety of tasks including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting web-based applications, while collaborating with a team to enhance software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full-stack software development including back-end database scripts, middle tier software code, and client software.
• Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain full stack web applications.
• Work under general technical direction to develop and modify complex web-based applications.
• Apply security and vulnerability best practices in the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with team members and government personnel to understand mission requirements and improve software delivery.
• Develop and deliver C# and Microsoft .NET software code, including maintaining and refactoring legacy code.
• Create and deliver SQL database scripts for various database operations, ensuring version control and schema changes are managed effectively.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Create and update application documentation including narratives, diagrams, and flow charts.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I Certification
• 3 years of experience in developing full stack web-based applications
• Proficient in C# and Microsoft .NET Frameworks (.NET Framework, .NET Core)
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery
• Proficient in SQL database scripting and management
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
