About the position

The Software Developer at HighPoint plays a crucial role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining software platforms and applications that support government agencies and companies in implementing strategic initiatives. This position requires a strong focus on problem-solving, collaboration, and technical direction to enhance software performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Resolve problems with software.
• Respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Develop end-to-end business processes using Blue Prism or similar RPA software.
• Work on automation platform components, development tools, and systems integrations to meet business requirements for security, scalability, and performance.
• Provide technical direction on design considerations.
• Write APIs for integration.
• Analyze solution performance, utilization, and trends to identify areas for improvement.
• Engage in Python programming and web application development.
• Utilize MS SQL for database management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT preferred.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Current Top Secret security clearance required.
• Ability to develop secure software systems based on industry specifications.
• Experience in complex, highly integrated, and high availability technology environments.
• Experience with development of multi-tier web-based applications, portals, content management systems, and web services integration.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Blue Prism or similar RPA software.
